If you're into brain-teasing puzzles, 2048 is the perfect quick distraction. The game gives you a 4×4 grid of numbered tiles, and your job is to slide them in four directions — up, down, left, or right. Tiles with the same number merge and double their value. The goal is to reach the 2048 tile (or go beyond!). It sounds simple, but planning your moves and thinking a few steps ahead is what separates a good run from a great one.

Use your arrow keys on desktop or swipe on mobile. Every move shifts all tiles, a new tile (2 or 4) spawns, and matching tiles combine. The game ends when no moves are left. A classic tip: keep your highest tile locked in a corner — that's the strategy that keeps things under control as the board fills up.
