🎵 Audio Converter
Convert MP4 to MP3, pull the audio out of any video, or convert between MP3, M4A/AAC, OGG, Opus, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, WMA and AC3 — right in your browser.
About Audio Converter
Need the MP3 out of an MP4, a WAV for an editor that won't open M4A, or a batch of FLAC files shrunk to Opus for your phone? Drop in any audio or video file — MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, WMA, AIFF and more — pick an output format, and download the result. Every file is identified by its actual contents, so a mislabelled extension doesn't matter.
Choose a bitrate or quality preset per codec, resample to a specific rate, mix down to mono, or trim a section by start and end time. The conversion runs on a copy of ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, entirely inside this tab: your files never leave your browser and nothing is uploaded to any server. The ~31 MB engine downloads once on first use and is cached by your browser afterwards.
Up to 20 files · 1 GB per file · 2 GB per batch
🔒 Private — your files never leave this browser.
✂️ Trim (optional)
90 (seconds), 1:30 or 0:01:30.5. Leave a field empty to keep that end. The same trim applies to every file in the batch.Input: anything ffmpeg can read — MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WebM, AVI, FLV, TS, WMV, 3GP video; MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, Opus, WMA, AIFF, AMR, APE, WavPack audio, and many more. Video files keep only their first audio track.
Limits: 20 files per batch, 1 GB per file, 2 GB per batch. Files are converted one at a time; audio-only conversions typically run at 30–50× real time on a desktop.
🔒 Everything runs locally in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm. No file, filename or metadata is uploaded to any server, and there is no analytics on this page.
