About Image Redaction
Before sharing a screenshot or photo, hide the parts you don't want seen — a face, a name, an account or card number, an address. Drag boxes over the areas and choose blur, pixelate or a solid black box. The redaction is baked into the pixels (not just an overlay you can peel off), and the saved file is re-encoded so the original EXIF metadata is stripped too. Everything runs locally — nothing is uploaded.
Tip: blur and pixelate can sometimes be partially reversed on low settings — for truly sensitive data use the black box mode.
